The Las Vegas Raiders will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs today in an AFC West matchup. The Raiders will be without one of their players, though, as he was arrested for a DUI this morning according to jail records. The player was released from jail, but it will cause him to not be able to play in today’s game.

Roderic Teamer Arrested
Special teamer and Safety Roderic Teamer was arrested for driving under the influence on Sunday morning and will be out of today’s matchup. It is being reported that Teamer was initially pulled over for speeding before being arrested for a DUI in Las Vegas. He was just activated from the injured reserve on Saturday but will miss the game anyway due to his actions.
Teamer went undrafted out of Tulane back in 2019, and later signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on a three-year, $1.755 million contract, and ended up making the 53-man roster after the preseason. He was then signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2021 but was released just a few months later. He made his return to Las Vegas in March this year on a restricted deal with the team.
Las Vegas Raiders Career
The Safety has amounted to five tackles in six games this season for the Raiders and does not have any interceptions. There are no further details on the arrest yet, but there will likely be more information coming out soon. There have been several notable arrests in the NFL this season, and this marks another, which is not a good look for the league.
Las Vegas is currently 5-6 and in third place in the AFC West. They will face their rivals in the Chiefs today which could determine if they can move into second place over the Denver Broncos. As for Teamer’s situation, the investigation is still ongoing and more details will come out later on.
