Lamar Jackson had quite the start to Monday Night Football.
During the opening quarter of the Baltimore Ravens Christmas night game against the San Francisco 49ers, Quarterback, Lamar Jackson dropped back and did what he did best, evade the pass rush…however, the play didn’t end up how the former MVP hoped it would.
Watch as Jackson ran around several 49ers defenders before a referee fell down in the end zone, causing the veteran signal caller to trip over him and cause a safety:

Lamar Jackson’s Safety Draws Interesting Reaction From Referee
Following the wild play, the referee that caused the safety didn’t seem too apologetic to the former Heisman Trophy winner turned NFL MVP.
Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens are in the midst of one of the best seasons in the NFL, holding the top seed in the AFC with a 11-3 record at the time of their Monday Night Football game on Christmas night against the Niners.
