Last offseason, the travels and relationship of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his 14-time Grammy Award-winning girlfriend, Taylor Swift, were one of the most popular topics fans followed in the months between the Super Bowl and start of training camp. After winning Super Bowl LVIII, the star tight end jetted around the globe to accompany Swift on her Eras Tour.
This offseason, though, the couple has been laying low. The Eras Tour is long over, and Kelce and the Chiefs lost Super Bowl LIX. Kansas City’s loss prevented what some believed would have been the 10-time Pro Bowl tight end’s retirement. Had they won, Kelce may have chosen to end his career on top.
As it is, though, the future Pro Football Hall of Famer is motivated to help the Chiefs get back into the Super Bowl and, hopefully, win it. This has meant that he has spent less time jetting around with his popstar girlfriend, but not that their relationship is on the rocks, as many have surmised.
And this is a good thing, too, because Kelce’s Chiefs teammates really seem to like her.
Kansas City Chiefs OL Trey Smith Reveals How Kind Taylor Swift Is

During a recent appearance on the “New Rory and Mal” podcast, Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith had nothing but good things to say about Kelce’s internationally famous girlfriend:
“Just talking to her—she really is a beautiful human being. She’s awesome. She’s super nice, she’s thoughtful, she’s kind.
“She remembered my name, my sister’s name, after meeting us months earlier.
“The biggest thing is just how nice of a person she is.”
This, of course, is not the first time that Chiefs players other than Kelce himself have had great things to say about Swift. Head coach Andy Reid, who has known her since she was little, praised her last offseason for baking treats for the team when they go on the road.
With Kelce refocused on regaining Super Bowl glory, there have been fewer public appearances involving the couple. That is likely going to remain the norm as the season draws closer, but there is little doubt that once the 2025 NFL season gets here, Swift watch will be on whenever Kansas City plays.
