Could the Kansas City Chiefs be even better in 2024?
According to ESPN’s Matt Bowen, the back-to-back Super Bowl Champions, Kansas City Chiefs are the best fit for five-time All-Pro offensive tackle, Tyron Smith.
From ESPN:
“The availability concerns for Smith are real; he has missed 33 games over the past four seasons with the Cowboys. But when healthy, Smith is a detailed technician with the physical demeanor to win on the edge. And he would absolutely upgrade the left tackle position for the Chiefs, limiting pass-rushers and keeping the throwing platform clean for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.”
Kansas City Chiefs Dynasty Continued in 2023
Fresh-off their 2022 Super Bowl Championship season, the Kansas City Chiefs were locked and loaded for another title surge in 2023. However, everything didn’t go as planned to kick-off their campaign this past season. Patrick Mahomes didn’t have his usual offensive weaponry and his one constant, Travis Kelce had a riddled injury start to the season. This time, the defense stepped up and for the first-time in his career, Mahomes and the offense just had to be good enough in order to win it all. Mahomes and the offense did just that while the defense continued to dominate, which led to a second-straight season ending with Andy Reid’s squad lifting the coveted Lombardi Trophy.
