Mahomes has been in political news in recent memory, especially when it comes to his wife, Brittany Mahomes who knowingly supports Donald Trump. We know that Patrick does not support Trump, and he gave perspective on how two people can still get along aside from political beliefs.

Mahomes has done a great job throughout his career staying out of a political spotlight to not let it affect his personal life. While his inner circle has received their fair share of criticism, including his wife and even star tight end Travis Kelce, Mahomes seems to know what to say to avoid this.

Highlighted by Gridiron Heroics’ Robin Adams, Trump has publicly stated that he likes Brittany Mahomes more than Taylor Swift after the pop star announced she was endorsing his opponent, Kamala Harris.
When asked about Swift’s endorsement of his opponent, Trump said, “Well I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better. If you want to know the truth. She’s a big Trump fan. I was not a Taylor Swift fan. It was only a matter of time. You couldn’t possibly endorse Biden.
“But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace. But I Like Britanny. Britanny is great. She’s the one I like much better than Taylor Swift. Wife of the great quarterback. I think she’s terrific.”
