The Kansas City Chiefs pair of future Pro Football Hall of Famers Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce has a lot going for them even off the court.
Mahomes can always be seen on social media spending plenty of time with his family while Kelce continues to attract attention in large part because he’s Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.
But Mahomes and Travis are also business partners. Back in March, the two announced their “1587 Prime” steakhouse venture (h/t Kalan Hooks of ESPN).
Although the restaurant has yet to open, it could come anytime soon. Expected to open at Loews Hotel in Kansas City, 1587 Prime is already handling the challenge of finding an executive chef, per a job listing on LinkedIn.
The job description in the said post is a lengthy one. Among the duties and functions the restaurant expects from an executive chef is to “continuously training and growing the team” and “understand the operational set up and principle of the restaurant concept.”
1587 Prime is part of the Noble 33 group that runs lots of restaurants across the United States.
“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes shared in a statement (per Hooks).
Kansas City Chiefs superstar duo looking to rebound from a failed 3-peat bid

After losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in last February’s Super Bowl, Mahomes and Kelce will look to reclaim their throne in the league in the 2025 NFL season.
After rumors about his retirement buzzed following the loss to the Eagles at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Kelce told Pat McAfee of “The Pat McAfee Show” that he would return for the 2025 season.
The Chiefs, who have won the AFC West division crown for nine straight seasons, went 15-2 in the 2024 campaign.
