Andy Reid Makes Decision On Kadarius Toney
Reid told reporter that the Chiefs will not be giving up on Toney, even after he made the costly error late in the fourth quarter during Sunday’s loss to the Bills. This is what the head coach told reporters today regarding the controversial receiver:
The thing I know is he makes plays. He makes plays when he has the ball in his hand and that’s important. He’s a young guy. He doesn’t have… a ton of experience, but I think he’s getting better every week. I don’t see that as being a negative. I look at the things that he produced on, too.
Kansas City Chiefs Fans React
The receiver was penalized for lining up offside on a play when the Chiefs scored what would have been the game-winning touchdown. Mahomes passed the ball to tight end Travis Kelce, who lateraled to Toney for him to run in for the touchdown, making for one the greatest plays made this season. However, because of Toney’s penalty, the play was called back, and the Chiefs were not able to convert on their final possession of the game.
NFL fans are questioning why the team is continuing to have belief in Toney since he has had struggles throughout his entire career and has made some crucial errors. Many think that the team should move on from the receiver and are saying that Kansas City will be better off without him.
