Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney took to social media to say that his team has been lying about his injury status.
Toney was originally injured in a mid-December matchup with the New England Patriots in which he had two receptions, and dropped a pass that directly led to an interception. Since then, Toney has had an ankle/hip injury designation on the Chiefs’ injury report.
The Kansas City Chiefs recently ruled Kadarius Toney out for their AFC Championship Game matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Along with the ankle/hip injury designation, the Chiefs listed personal reasons as another reason Toney was not playing. After much speculation, the personal reason turned out to be the birth of his daughter.

In the social media rant, Toney says that the injury designations are false. He claims in the curse-laden video that he is not hurt at all. (WARNING: Graphic Language):

The week prior to being designated as injured after a rough game against the Patriots, Toney was called for a costly offsides penalty that may have cost the Chiefs the game against the Buffalo Bills. He was on the receiving end of a cross-field lateral from tight end Travis Kelce, but the fact that he lined up offsides negated the play.

Toney argued after the incident in a Bleacher Report article that the ref was in the wrong, and that he should’ve been warned that he was improperly lined up.
“[The referee] didn’t make no effort,” he added. “You watch the video, he didn’t make no effort to say anything about no alignment. So apparently, he wanted to do that regardless. But like I said, we’re just going back to the details and just make sure we fine print everything.”
Before being injured for the rest of the season, Toney amassed just 169 yards receiving on 27 receptions. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes seemed frustrated with Toney’s drops in the game against the Patriots.

Fans don’t see Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney’s antics as anything knew
Problems such as this were cited as one of the main reasons the New York Giants, the team that originally drafted Toney, got rid of him. Toney has been outspoken in the past, including an incident in which he argued with fans via social media direct messages. (WARNING: Graphic Language):

Many fans are saying that the Chiefs have realized that Toney is a liability, and his antics are not worth his lackluster production.
Did the same with the Giants. Seems to be a common reoccurrence that teams just don’t want him playing. He’s a risk on the field and doesn’t shut his mouth.

If the Chiefs advance to the Super Bowl Toney will have two weeks to recover if he is actually injured. If he is not actually injured like he claims, it is very possible that Toney has played his last game with the Kansas City Chiefs.
