NFL Fans React To Kansas City Chiefs New Replacement For Harrison Butker Commenting On Job

NFL fans had a lot to say about the Kansas City Chiefs’ safety Justin Reid commenting on his new job for the upcoming season. Reid is expected to replace kicker Harrison Butker for much of the team’s kickoffs because of the new league rules for the play.

Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub said he planned to use Reid and Louis Rees-Zammit in place of Butker on kickoffs where the Chiefs do not need distance. Toub doesn’t want Butker, a player who has expressed the virtues of his masculinity during a controversial commencement speech this offseason, to injure his delicate frame attempting to make a tackle against some of the smallest and speediest players in the league.

As previously discussed on GH, Reid talked about his new duty during the Chiefs’ visit to the White House on Friday:

While Reid was doing this, he was asked about the new kickoff rules in the NFL. To say Reid is excited about it is an understatement:

“There’s this great new kickoff rule that’s really gonna allow me to shine.” -Justin Reid

Justin Reid taking full time kickoff duty would be awesome for the league

Stupid headline. He’s not being replaced, just on kick offs. Stupid media going in on shock value, taking advantage of a current situation. Morons!

“delicate frame”. Bull@#$%. You don’t like his religious views so you make snarky comments. How about not getting one of the best kickers in the league injured doing something someone else can do and let him kick game winning field goals.

A poor excuse for a journalist. BUTKIR is not being replaced, the game is changing.

Your rude & obnoxious comments attacking him personally are a direct result of you listening to Liberal Democratic talking points and YOU trying to score points with Liberals.

I hope those I’ll gotten clicks make you feel better about your skills….clickbait works great for those with little to say

Again a 1 sided slant against someone who feels a certain way. This article is misleading and the doesn’t want to hurt his masculine frame remark is why you write articles about nonsense and probably got bullied a lot.

I’m wondering why you are attacking Harrison … Is there something in your own life that makes you feel justified in doing so? Your article indicates that you are part of what’s wrong with this country right now!! Do you wear your underwear backwards?

Unfortunately, America’s media today isn’t really interested in reporting the facts and the story. They only want to push their own agenda to influence peoples point of view in the direction they want it to go. It’s disgusting to watch the evolution of once great generations of media reporters stoop to using inaccurate information and sly comments made to hurt the person’s reputation. sometimes downright lies just to push their own agenda and opinion on others. I’m more interested in the story rather than the reporters, political views, unless he states at the beginning that his purpose is to push certain Political and moral points of view rather than discuss the actual story.

The saddest thing about this, is this clown would rejoice if Butker lost his job. Which would never happen because if he’s not the best kicker in the league, he’s second. Won multiple playoff games and superbowl’s because he has ice water in his veins and excels in pressure situations. And condemning someone for speaking their religious beliefs at a religious university is mind blowing and never mind the fact he got a standing ovation. That’s why his jersey sales are through the roof especially on the womens side. Know your role and shut your mouth you jabroney
