North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, have been making plenty of headlines lately. While the university undoubtedly was hoping that hiring the six-time Super Bowl champion head coach would bring attention and notoriety to their football program, the recent controversy surrounding his relationship with Hudson is likely not what the athletic department had in mind.
Indeed, there are even rumblings that Belichick, who is one of the greatest coaches in football history, may not even make it to the start of his first regular season with the Tar Heels because of Hudson’s antics. But while he sees his professional life and opportunities questioned, she is getting more notoriety herself.
Bill Belichick Girlfriend Jordon Hudson Expected to Decline “Dancing with the Stars” Invitation
When the relationship between the 73-year-old Belichick and 24-year-old Hudson became public knowledge, many jumped to the conclusion that the beauty pageant contestant was using the multi-millionaire coach to boost her own status.
Since the pair started dating, Hudson has built a real estate portfolio worth around $8 million. She is also getting some inquiries as to her availability for some reality television appearances. However, Hudson is being picky about what engagements she chooses.
Per a report from The Daily Mail, Hudson is expected to turn down an invitation to be a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars:”
“ABC are currently in the process of signing up celebs for the thirty-fourth season of the show, and sources close to Hudson have revealed that she has had the call – but is unlikely to take part.
“‘She has been asked to be a part of the next season of Dancing with the Stars,’ a source told DailyMail.com.
“‘She likely will decline as it will be in the fall, the same time Bill will be coaching and she wants to be there for him at UNC.
“‘Whatever Jordon would like to get into, in front or behind the cameras, she wants to do some shows in the hosting realm. She’s like to do a show like 1st Look if she had the chance.'”
As one can tell from the report, Hudson wants to host a show where she will have a greater voice. If she were to appear in “Dancing with the Stars,” she would not get that kind of opportunity.
And, as the report mentions, Hudson intends on being in North Carolina to support Belichick this upcoming season. This news comes after conflicting reports over whether or not she had been banned by North Carolina from being at their football facilities.
As she intends to be there, she obviously has not been banned and the couple expects to make it to the regular season without the university taking any drastic measures.
