Jordan Poyer’s wife, Rachel Bush, recently opened up on her decision to never go on the birth control pill and also explained why in an Instagram post. Bush shared a message from Integrative Nurse Practitioner, S. Clovinson, also known as ‘yourholistic.bff’ On Instagram, who technically blamed hormonal birth control as the culprit behind mood swings, heavy periods, and perimenopause in young women.
‘The pill’ is perhaps the most common and preferred type of birth control and a large number of women are encouraged to use it right from their teens. However, it comes with its share of side-effects and complications and has been speculated to cause early menopause, also called perimenopause, when used in the long run.
“Proudly never on the pill. Synced to the full 🌕 and my cycle is so easy and natural (2 blah days ok) because I never did that to my body. I also feel like this is why I’m so happy all the time and never had issues with my hormones 🤷♀️ things that would typically bother others I wouldn’t even bat an eye at. Maybe you’re not sad / crazy maybe you just need to get off the pill..” Rachel Bush wrote in her Instagram post, while sharing a video by S. Clovinson.

Jordan Poyer’s wife also reiterated the fact that she is certainly not a doctor and simply doing her bit to promote awareness about the various side effects of birth control pills. She ended her message by encouraging her followers to explore and research holistic doctors both inside and outside the US.

Jordan Poyer Wants To Play For Buffalo Bills In 2025 Season
Jordan Poyer is still a free agent in the NFL after being let go by the Miami Dolphins after playing one season with them. However, Poyer still seems to be keeping his hopes up on being signed before the regular season starts. While Poyer cannot afford to be very picky right now, the safety hopes to play for the Buffalo Bills in the upcoming football season.

Apart from preparing for his next football season with whatever team is ready to play him, Poyer is also on a journey of self-reflection and introspection. The football safety has apparently undergone 11 ceremonies with the ayahuasca plant medicine, which is known for its psychedelic qualities. Last year, Poyer attended an ayahuasca ceremony with veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
