The Las Vegas Raiders revealed a troubling update for starting quite Jimmy Garoppolo Monday afternoon. The Raiders dropped a close game to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
Many fans and pundits blamed the loss on head coach Josh McDaniels. McDaniels made a bold decision to kick a field goal late in the fourth quarter when the Raiders were down eight points. But there might have been other factors at play in his decision.
Las Vegas Raiders have a concerning update on Jimmy Garoppolo
Garoppolo suffered a couple of injuries against the Steelers. He sustained a leg injury in the second quarter. Garoppolo also suffered a head injury.
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, McDaniels said Garoppolo is in the concussion protocol on Monday.

That’s rough news for Garoppolo and the Raiders. Garoppolo could miss some time due to the head injury. He will have to pass all phases of the protocol before he is cleared to play again.
The 1-2 Raiders need Garoppolo healthy before their Week 4 matchup against the 1-2 Los Angeles Chargers.
