Jayden Daniels was recently the victim of a prank call by none other than his teammate, Mike Sainristil. Sainristil participated in the viral TikTok trend where men call up their friends to wish them goodnight and offer heartfelt sentiments. In the now viral video, Sainristil can be seen speaking to Daniels on speakerphone and wishing him goodnight to which the young quarterback can be heard responding in a hilarious manner.
Both Daniels and Sainristil have been playing for the Commander since the 2024 NFL season. Daniels was selected by the team as the second pick in the very first round of the draft, while Sainristil was the 50th pick in the second round of the draft. Daniels was of course not the only victim of Sainristil’s crime, since the cornerback posted himself doing the same prank with his other teammates as well.
“I just talked to you five minutes ago. You’re acting real bonkers right now,” Jayden Daniels says to Mike Sainristil in the video shared by Fox Sports’ X account.

Jayden Daniels is one of the most promising players for the Commanders for their upcoming NFL season. In his rookie season with Washington, the quarterback threw for a total of 3,568 yards, scoring 25 touchdowns, while managing nine interceptions for the team. He also won the highly coveted NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year title in his first season with the Washington Commanders.

Jayden Daniels And Commanders To Open Season With Giants
Jayden Daniels and the rest of the Washington Commanders are scheduled to open their season with a matchup against the New York Giants. Before taking on the Giants, the Commanders will be paired up with the New England Patriots and the Cincinnati Bengals for preseason games.

In the 2024 NFL season, the Washington Commanders finished second in the NFC East after winning 12 games and losing five. The Commanders managed to make it to the NFC Championships to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. However, the Eagles were too powerful and demolished the Commanders with a final score of 55-23. The Philadelphia Eagles then went on to win against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl matchup this February.

On the other side, the New York Giants, with whom the Washington Commanders will open their season with, had a disastrous game in the previous season. Last year, the Giants finished last in the NFC East with only three wins and 14 defeats.
