The Miami Dolphins poached an All-Pro pass rusher Monday following reports that Jaelan Phillips would be out for the season after sustaining an Achilles injury Friday against the New York Jets. Phillips was tied with Christian Wilkins for the most sacks on the Dolphins with 6.5 sacks.
The Dolphins poached a player from the New Orleans Saints who had recently been signed to their practice squad.
The Miami Dolphins add a pass rusher
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, the Dolphins are set to sign Jason Pierre-Paul from the Saints practice squad.

Per GH records, Pierre-Paul has won two Super Bowls in his legendary career:
“Pierre-Paul is a two-time Super Bowl-winning pass rusher. He won his first Super Bowl (XLVI) with the Giants and his second (LV) with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pierre Paul made All-Pro in 2011 and has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times.
Pierre-Paul has registered 94.5 sacks and 21 forced fumbles in his NFL career.”
Unlike with the Saints, Pierre-Paul should see snaps on the Dolphins’ defense this season.
