The Las Vegas Raiders officially ruled two key players out against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. The Raiders had a few players battling injuries this week.
All eyes were on the wide receivers on the injury report ahead of their essential contest against the Bills. The Raiders will look to improve their record to 2-0 against a Bills team that was stunned in their loss to the New York Jets Monday Night after Aaron Rodgers’ injury.
Jakobi Meyers and Davante Adams were placed on the injury list this week with injuries. Meyers suffered a concussion in the team’s Week 1 win against the Denver Broncos. Adams was dealing with a foot injury.
The Las Vegas Raiders rule two stars out
According to the Week 2 injury report, the Raiders ruled Meyers out against the Bills. They also ruled defensive end Chander Jones out for the contest. The Raiders have no injury designation for Adams against the Bills.
While quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who is dealing with an injury of his own, would prefer to have Adams and Meyers on the field, I’m sure he’s relieved to have Adams make the roster against the Bills.
#Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers (concussion) is officially out for Sunday vs. the #Bills, as is DE Chandler Jones (personal).
QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) and WR Davante Adams (foot) are off the injury report and good to go.
