The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking to get back on track in 2024 after a disappointing season in 2023. The team started the year out strong holding a commanding first-place lead in the AFC South, but ended up collapsing in the second half of the season, causing them to miss the postseason. While injuries to quarterback Trevor Lawrence played a big role in the team’s struggles, the lack of weapons certainly played a key part as well. With wide receiver Calvin Ridley likely to sign with a new squad this offseason, the team has officially agreed to terms with one of the biggest names on the open market for receivers.
Jacksonville Jaguars Sign Star Receiver
The Jaguars are signing former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis to a three-year deal according to multiple sources. Davis has been one of the most talked-about names on the wide receiver market this offseason, so it’s no surprise that he has been taken off of the board quickly after the legal tampering period started.

Gabe Davis Career
Since joining the league in 2020, the star receiver has amounted to 2,730 receiving yards, 163 catches, and 27 touchdowns with the Bills. His success has often gone unnoticed over the past few years due to superstar Stefon Diggs being the ultimate star on the offense, but Davis has made a name for himself as a true star in this league in recent seasons.
Will Davis Breakout In Jacksonville?
With Davis joining the Jaguars, the team will likely lose Ridley to the open market, but sources say that they are still trying to pursue him, which would be a massive upgrade for Lawrence if the team can retain both weapons. The New England Patriots are the favorites to land Ridley as of right now, so it will be interesting to see how things play out.
Do you think Davis and Ridley will both play in Jacksonville next season or will Ridley end up with a new squad?
