John Wolford: A Seasoned Quarterback From Jacksonville Jaguars
The 6’1″, 200-pound seasoned quarterback John Wolford signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets in August 2018. His professional career took off after he moved to the Los Angeles Rams, where he played between 2020 and 2022.
Wolford played in seven games, four as a starter, where he had a total of 61 completions for 626 yards and one touchdown pass. The quarterback spent his entire 2024 offseason and training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before he signed with the Jaguars’ practice squad in December.

Louis Rees-Zammit is a native of Penarth, Wales, and a member of the NFL’s International Player Pathway (IPP) Program. Which aims to expand the league’s global reach. Before transitioning to American football, Rees-Zammit played for Gloucester Rugby in England’s Premiership from 2018 to 2024.
Had over 77 club appearances and accumulated 210 points, helping him to solidify his status as one of rugby’s standout players.
Zammit represented Wales in 2019 and 2023, scoring 105 points in 41 games while being selected for the distinguished British & Irish Lions squad in 2021-the youngest player named since 1959. All of this talent and knowledge of rugby, along with an athlete’s physique, has now made him a high prospect for the Jaguars.
Rees-Zammit spent the 2024 training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs before signing onto the Jaguars’ practice squad last August. He will be closely monitored during his transition into the NFL, where the team hopes to gain from his international experience, coupled with his extreme raw athleticism.
Fans React To Jaguars Newest Addition To The Lineup
Jacksonville Jaguars’ recent announcement of signing John Wolford and Louis Rees-Zammit has sparked mixed feelings from fans and analysts alike. Fans took to Twitter to express their opinion about the players’ future impact on the team.
An X user commented: If you know the NFL, all that’s happened is that he’s been retained. The “active” roster is only relevant in August and September when it dropped to 53. But, hey, it’s a positive move all the same. I still think he’ll play in the regular season. But not yet
