The Kansas City Chiefs roster is committed to avenging their 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in February’s Super Bowl. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was briefly mulling retirement before deciding he owed to Kansas City to return and flush out the “bad taste” in his mouth this offseason.
On Friday, the Chiefs re-signed a linebacker who was a part of the back-to-back Super Bowl-winning team.

“What’s up, Chiefs Kingdom, Jack Cochrane here. Excited to be back for another year,'” Cochrane said. “We got some work to do, but man, I’m really excited about the group we have and I’m excited to be a part of it so thanks–fired up to get back on the field and see y’all in the fall.”
Cochrane was a standout at South Dakota, earning second-team All-MVFC honors in 2019 and first-team All-MVFC honors in 2021. The Mount Vernon, Iowa native will make special teams coordinator David Toub’s life much easier in the upcoming season.
