Is the sky falling over Lambeau Field?

It’s been an off season full of twists and turns, with several star players departing from their long time teams for (hopefully) greener pastures. One of the most well known departures this off season was an RKO out of nowhere for Green Bay fans with the team trading their star Wide Receiver, Davante Adams, to the Las Vegas Raiders for a first and second round pick in the 2022 Draft.
Since the trade, fans have tried their best to wade through the five stages of grief, with some managing the process better than others. There have been angry comments thrown around, but on the more level-headed side of things a conversation was started:
How will the Green Bay Packers offense handle the absence of arguably the best Wide Receiver in football?
Heading into the regular season, Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb have been working hard to help younger receivers and new veteran additions get up to speed with what back-to-back league MVP QB Aaron Rodgers likes from his receivers. While the receiver room won’t be topping many folks’ lists, it is a solid group of players with great potential. Some folks have also lost sight of the bigger picture: Green Bay has some great Tight Ends in Robert Tonyan and seventeen year veteran Marcedes Lewis. They also have a couple of solid pass catching Running Backs in Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.

Tonyan is a huge Gold Zone target returning from an injury that unfortunately cut his season short in 2021. Keep in mind, though, that just a year earlier he had a career high eleven touchdowns.

Running Back Aaron Jones is also no stranger in the passing game, racking up six touchdowns and right under four hundred receiving yards in 2021.
What will the Green Bay Packers do now?
While no one can for sure say how the 2022 season will play out for Green Bay’s offense that has been a force to be reckoned with the past couple of seasons, there is plenty there to have faith in. Green Bay fans should remember to take a deep breath and R-E-L-A-X.
