    Indiana Hoosiers

The Indiana Hoosiers have surprised everyone this season with their elite play on both sides of the ball. AP Head Coach of the Year Curt Cignetti, in only his first season with the Hoosiers, has this team in its first college football playoff appearance and is 11-1 on the season. In 10 of the 11 victories have come by at least 14 or more points. The Hoosiers have the #1 Rush defense in the country only allowing 70.8 rushing yards per game. They also only allow 14.7 points per game along with the 2nd fewest total yards per game at 244.8. They’ve been dominant on the offensive side of the ball as well; they’re 2nd in the nation in scoring, putting up 43.3 points per game. Quarterback Kurtis Rourke is having an incredible season by throwing for a total of 2827 yards with a sensational 27-4 TD/INT ratio. For the Hoosiers, this playoff game is not just another matchup—it’s a chance to etch their legacy into the program’s history and a massive step in ruling the state for the years to come.

    Indiana Trends

Indiana is 11-1 this season, only losing to Ohio State.

Indiana is 9-3 against the spread.

The total points have gone OVER in 9 of their last 12 games.

Indiana has covered the 1st half spread in 8 of their last 10 games.

Kurtis Rourke has thrown for 175+ yards in 10 of his 11 games played.

Kurtis Rourke has thrown a touchdown in 10 of his 11 games played.

Both Ty Son Lawton and Justice Ellison has rushed for 25+ yards in 11 of their 12 games.

    Notre Dame Fighting Irish

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish enter this playoff game at home with one of the best rushing attacks and defenses in the nation. Since the Northern Illinois upset, Notre Dame has gone on a dominant run, winning 10 consecutive games by an average of 30.7 points per game. They have the 10th most rushing yards a game for an average of 224.8. Sophomore running back Jeremiyah Love is the only FBS player this season to rush for a touchdown in every game. The Irish have given up the 3rd fewest points a game at 13.6, while also averaging the 4th most points with 40.8 per game. Now, as they prepare for the playoff matchup, Notre Dame carries the hopes of their dedicated fanbase and the pride of their storied tradition, ready to prove why they remain a force in college football.

    Notre Dame Trends

Notre Dame is on a 10-game win streak after losing to Northern Illinois at home.

Notre Dame is 4-0 versus ranked opponents.

Notre Dame is 10-2 against the spread.

The total has gone OVER 7 of their 12 games.

Notre Dame has hit the 1st half Moneyline in their last 10 games.

Jeremiyah Love has rushed for 1+ TD every game this season.

    Predictions and Bets

If the Hoosiers can move the ball on offense and the defense can force Riley Leonard into obvious passing downs, then I like the Hoosiers to win this game. I trust in Kurtis Rourke more than I do Riley Leonard at quarterback. Indiana had a lot of mistakes on the special teams that cost them the game versus Ohio State. I think that they’ve learned from that defeat and are better for it. I think the Indiana offense is more dynamic than Notre dames and the Hoosiers defense can slow down the rushing attack of Notre Dame. Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois at home and gave up 35 points to USC in their last game. Both of these defenses have given up very few points overall, therefore I believe it will be a low scoring affair.

    Best Bets and Alternative Props

Indiana Hoosiers to cover the spread of +7.5 (-120).

    Total points UNDER 52.5 (-110).

Alternate total points UNDER 59.5 (-235).

Kurtis Rourke 150+ alternate passing yards (-400).

Kurtis Rourke 1+ passing Touchdowns (-310).
