The Texas Longhorns fanbase is looking forward to enshrining a new era of football during the 2025 college football season with quarterback Arch Manning leading the way. With the Longhorns making the playoffs the last two years with Quinn Ewers as the quarterback, they have fallen short of the college football playoffs semifinals both years.
Manning is looking to take them to a new level this season. He has a chance to be a Heisman Trophy front runner this season and also be talked about as one of the top picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. On3.com created a Top 100 players list for the upcoming 2025 college football season. They had an interesting top 10 list. There were three Texas players in the Top 10. Manning was ranked number 10 on the list. It is not a surprise that he is ranked in the Top 10, but some college football fans were not thrilled about Manning being ranked so high. With Manning being the starting quarterback now for the Longhorns, there is going to be a lot of fame and hate with his last name. He is going to prove to people why he will be one of the best college football players for the 2025 season. Texas’s offense is going to a massive leap with him leading the way this season.
They will have a lot of talent on the roster in 2025. They will also be one of the favorites to win the national title in college football this season. Manning will make another start for the Longhorns when they face the Ohio State Buckeyes on the road in Week 1 at Columbus, Ohio in Buckeyes Stadium.
