What do you get when you add together Post Malone, the Boise State Broncos, and frat boys? A Boise State legend. When the Boise State Broncos took on the UNLV Rebels in the Mountain West Championship, we knew it was the one of the biggest games in their history but now a fraternity has taken it to the next level. After the Boise State win, fans stormed the field, tore down the goalposts, and gently placed them in the nearby Boise River. But what happened next is what’s so legendary.
“Goal Post Malone”
A Boise State fraternity retrieved the sunken goalpost from the frigid river and marched it downtown where they found Post Malone, R&B/pop/country star. In town for a show, Post autographed the post. The fraternity has reportedly kept the goalpost but they could surely pay for quite a few frat parties with what the goalpost could sell for.

Mountain West Championship Game
The Broncos beat the Rebels 21-7 in the Mountain West championship game, propelling them to their first ever College Football Playoff appearance and a controversial first round bye. This was the second consecutive conference championship for the Broncos. Ashton Jeanty again topped 200 yards and earned offensive MVP honors. Boise State will take on the winners of the first round matchup between Penn State and SMU while Ashton Jeanty has been named a finalist for the Heisman. The Heisman winner will be announced on Saturday.
The game itself was historic, and so were the post-game celebrations.
