Which 2024 Official Heisman Candidates Should Win The Trophy?
- Travis Hunter: Travis Hunter, hailing from Colorado, is a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the ball. His ability to move easily between roles as a cornerback to receiver makes him the best contender. But the question remains whether dual-threat capability will sway Heisman voters in his favor.
- Ashton Jeanty: leading Boise State to an incredible 12-1 record, there is more to Jeanty than just being a great-productive player; he is also a valuable asset to his team. Jeanty’s ability to maintain top-tier performance has indeed been the topic of discussion throughout this year.
- Dillon Gabriel: For Oregon, Quarterback Dillon Gabriel has certainly been a strong presence with strategic organization. Despite Gabriel having numerous offensive options, his ability to read the field and contribute to the team’s success remains noteworthy. But the powerhouse contender pool that swirls around Gabriel is most likely going to limit his chances.
- Cam Ward: Miami’s Cam Ward emerges as a controversial figure among fans. While some very much praise his skills, others see him as a dark horse in the lineup.

Fan Reactions On 2024 Heisman Candidates List
Fans have voiced a spectrum of opinions on this year’s Heisman candidates:
Jeanty is the best player at his position. Gabriel is a solid QB. But, he has so many great weapons that it's hard to judge. Hunter is a great player. But, his argument is that he plays both ways. He isn't the CB nor top WR in the class. Cam Ward is a no for me.

Ashton Jeanty has been the best, most productive, AND most valuable player all year long. And he's done it against stacked boxes all year, all while leading his team to a remarkable 12-1 record. He's a great kid off the field too. By all metrics, he deserves the Heisman trophy 💯 pic.twitter.com/3t9VaA92Ph

Jeanty SHOULD win it but the media outlets and influencers are spending millions behind the scenes to have Hunter walk off with the award. Tragedy

Jeanty is quite literally the entire boise offense. Whole teams entire game plan is to shut him down and they still cant do it. The whole reason they’re in the playoffs and honestly i can see jeanty carrying them thru the playoffs as well

Jenty. The guy is have a once in a generation season. He is gonna be RB1 in the 2025 draft and his season should matter especially because his team is in the CFP. I’d argue that Dillion Gabriel should get a couple 1st place votes too.
1.) Jenty
2.) Hunter
3.) Gabriel— Wait!GoBlue (@Realist10121) December 10, 2024
