The Houston Texans and rising superstar quarterback CJ Stroud are going to be one of the most intriguing and entertaining teams to watch during the upcoming 2024 NFL season.
After an impressive run to the playoffs last season led by the rookie quarterback, the Texans went on to win a playoff game as well. Stroud appears to be the next quarterback in line to be a new superstar.
During his rookie season, Stroud ended up completing 63.9 percent of his pass attempts for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. He also picked up 167 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Now, looking ahead to the upcoming season, even bigger expectations have been set for the Houston Texans’ young quarterback.
Houston Texans QB CJ Stroud Receives Huge Prediction For 2024 Season
CBS Sports analyst Josh Edwards recently made predictions on the offensive side of the football for who will end up being All-Pros. Stroud was on that list at quarterback.
“Fans have been able to see more of Stroud’s personality since the season concluded. He is wired the right way as a competitor and a student of the game. His rookie season, which ended in the divisional round of the playoffs, was one of the best ever seen from a player in his first season. As he continues to grow more comfortable with the system, the talent around him, the atmosphere and more, he should be able to take his game to another level.”
Those are big-time expectations for Stroud to pursue.
At just 22 years old, Stroud is already being talked about as a top-five NFL quarterback. He has only started one season.
Not only is Stroud expected to have a big season individually, he is expected to lead the Houston Texans to major success. The Texans are a team that many are calling a sleeper Super Bowl contender.
While the expectations and pressure are high, Stroud lives for the moment. He’s ready to take his game to the next level.
If he plays up to his full potential, becoming an All-Pro is well within reasonable goals to be set for him.
