The New York Giants are 2-7 this season after they lost to the Washington Commanders 27-22 on Sunday afternoon. This season, the Commanders are 7-2 because of rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. A lot of Giants fans wished they had him instead of Daniel Jones as the quarterback this season.

Daniel Jones has been under scrutiny by the fanbase over the last couple of seasons. This year might be the final straw with him as the starting quarterback for this franchise.
New York Giants Head Coach Brian Daboll Once Again Commits To Daniel Jones Starting Against the Carolina Panthers

On Monday, head coach Brian Daboll met with the media. He announced that Jones will once again be the starting quarterback for the Giants against the Carolina Panthers in Germany. They are both 2-7 this season. Carolina is also one of the worst teams in the NFL.
Jones in the first half on Sunday completed 4-of-6 passes for zero yards and one touchdown. He did throw for more yardage and had a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown in the second half, but it wasn’t enough for the Giants to overcome against the Commanders.

Absolutely pathetic this needs to be said every week. It’s the NFL & we’re talking about a 6th year $40 million QB, not an undrafted rookie 🤦🏽♂️
How have we fallen off this hard 👎

He deserves this week after yesterday.. no doubt. Everybody in the organization knows there needs to be a change, however. That day is not today just yet.

There is no question that Giants fans have had enough of Daniel Jones being the starting quarterback. If they were to lose to the Carolina Panthers this week, there is no question that Jones could very well be benched after the bye week in favor of Drew Lock or Tommy DeVito. The Giants would be 2-8 at that point and it would be another lost season for the franchise.
