Everyone is Saying The Same Thing About Haason Reddick and New York Jets Reaching a Deal

As if trading for All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams in hopes of sparking an inconsistent passing game wasn’t a bold enough move for general manager Joe Douglas and the Jets, New York reached an agreement Sunday with All-Pro pass rusher Haason Reddick to end his holdout that has been ongoing since he was acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles back n March.

Reddick plans to return to the team this week, as the two sides work towards a long-term contract extension. Sunday’s dramatic reversal comes less than a week after Reddick hired Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, shortly after being fired as a client by his former agency.

Two impact players into the fold at premium positions, one on offense, on on defense, which have the potential to alter the trajectory of the Jets’ season and perhaps propel New York into contenders in the AFC East.

Immediately after reports emerged Sunday morning that the Jets and Reddick had struck a deal, fans took to social media to sound off on the move.
