Winners of their last three games, the Green Bay Packers will hit the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. It’s an important game for the Packers as they will host Detroit in a massive NFC showdown next week. Jacksonville has played in London the last two weeks and come into this game 2-5 on the year. They will be desperate for a win to get their season back on track. Kickoff is noon CST on FOX. Here are they keys to another Green Bay Packers win.

Attack Early and Often on Offense

Coming into this game, the Jacksonville Jaguars do not have a good defense. They currently are tied for 29th in the NFL in total defense and only have three takeaways on the season. for having very good edge rushers like Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker, it’s a unit that is struggling mightily.

If I’m the Green Bay Packers, I’m doing what I need to do. It is easy to overlook this team with Detroit coming into town next week, but as long as this Packers offense moves the ball and avoid turnovers, they should be able to score around 30 points if not more. However, sometimes those are the toughest games too

The Green Bay Packers Need to Win the Turnover Battle

As mentioned above, Jacksonville only has three takeaways on the year. As a whole, they have a -4 turnover ratio. That’s pretty good despite not being able to force turnovers.

The Green Bay Packers have a +6 turnover ratio. That is good for a tie for third in the league. I have a feeling this game is going to have multiple turnovers. The Packers can’t give a 2-5 team a reason to believe as that can be the momentum the Jaguars need the rest of the season.

Take Away the Jaguars Running Game

The offense isn’t the issue for Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence is not have the year people expected, but I like their running game. They have solid duo in Travis Etienne Jr and Tank Bigsby, In particular, Bigsby has been the better back as of late. He comes into this game averaging over six yards a carry and four touchdowns. Etienne still averages over four yards a carry and is a threat in the passing game as well.

I think this is a game where Jacksonville challenges this Green Bay Packers defense to stop two potential explosive playmakers. This has been a solid Packers defense to this point. Like the offense, they will have to take care of business and keep doing what they have been doing up to this point of the season.
