With one month until the 2025 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers’ cornerback position faces uncertainty. Their oft-injured Pro Bowler Jaire Alexander’s future with Green Bay hangs in the balance after being the subject of trade talks. The Packers have failed to find a trade partner, as insiders deem a resolution unlikely, and they are expected to move on from him regardless.
Also, their cornerback depth weakened in free agency after losing three contributors. Eric Stokes signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, Corey Ballentine signed with the Indianapolis Colts, and Robert Rochell signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. Because of this, the Packers may select a corner on Day 1 or 2.
Green Bay Packers have Top-30 visit with intriguing cornerback

According to Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated, the Packers are hosting East Carolina’s standout cornerback, Shavon Revel, on a Top-30 visit. Revel is one of the most intriguing prospects at the position because he dominated the competition, though he played for a Group of Five (G5) school rather than a Power Four (P4) program.

He had a great career with East Carolina

Here’s Lance Zierlein’s scouting report on Shavon Revel

“Big, long and fast are the physical descriptors that stand out for the East Carolina corner. Revel is leggy when matching press release but he’s disruptive once he gets his hands on the wideout.
“He plays upright in man coverage, tends to allow small pockets of separation due to his high center of gravity and still needs improvement when it comes to finding and defending the deep ball, despite his ability to stay in phase with vertical routes.
“He has ideal length and good vision from zone, and he should continue to improve in that coverage with more experience. Revel suffered a torn ACL in September, but his measurables, explosiveness and upside give him a good chance to become an early starter.”
Zierlein predicts that Revel will eventually become a plus starter.
