The Green Bay Packers have been dealing with a plethora of injuries heading into Week 16. Green Bay goes on the road to take on the Carolina Panthers. To have a realistic chance at making the playoffs, the Packers need to win this game. Now, they get key updates on two offensive weapons to try to improve their chances of doing just that.
AJ Dillon Is Active
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Packers RB AJ Dillon will be active for this game after dealing with a broken thumb. This should give them great relief when it comes to their rushing attack. Dillon has 574 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown in 13 games this season.
Jayden Reed Is Out
On the other end of the spectrum, Green Bay will have to try to win in Week 16 without WR Jayden Reed due to toe and chest issues. Just how big of a loss is this for the Packers? Reed has 592 receiving yards and six touchdown receptions this season.
Green Bay Packers Moving Forward
The Green Bay Packers have a 6-8 record heading into Week 16. They trail the final NFC wild card teams by one game. Reed is not the only wide receiver who will be missing in this game. Christian Watson is also out due to a hamstring injury.
