The Green Bay Packers are making some changes along their offensive line in preparation for the 2025 NFL season. Josh Myers, who was drafted in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, was not retained after serving as the team’s starting center for four seasons.
One of the Packers’ biggest free agent signings of this offseason was left guard Aaron Banks, who previously played for the San Francisco 49ers. His addition meant that two-time Pro Bowl guard Elgton Jenkins is moving to center to replace Myers.
Jenkins previously played center while in college at Mississippi state.
But while most of the Green Bay players were on site at Lambeau Field last week for voluntary workouts, Jenkins was not.
Green Bay Packers Center Elgton Jenkins Was Involved in a Dispute at an Atlanta Strip Club

Instead of attending the voluntary workouts (which he absolutely did not have to attend), Jenkins was apparently home in Atlanta, Georgia. While there, he was involved in a dispute with employees of a local strip club.
“The NFL offensive lineman and some of his friends hit up King of Diamonds in Atlanta at around 11:30 PM on May 1 — and a short time after they arrived, they began quarrelling with some of the establishment’s workers.
“Jenkins and his crew had paid to get into the spot — but when it wasn’t as lively as they had been told it was, they asked for a refund.
“A spat ensued — as there was apparently some difficulty in returning the money back to the footballer.
“The Forest Park Police Department was actually called out to the scene … and in body camera footage we obtained, you can see multiple officers arrived to get a handle on the situation.
“Fortunately, cooler heads ultimately prevailed and the club gave Jenkins his money back. Cops left without having to make any arrests or issue any citations.”
As it turns out, the situation was solved without any arrests or citations being given out. This is good news for the Packers, of course, who are a team that typically is able to avoid such distractions during the offseason.
