The NFL off-season continues to move on with owners meetings in Florida. Green Bay Packers CEO Mark Murphy was interviewed today by Packers media and brought up an interesting item regarding the schedule next season.
Could The Green Bay Packers Play The Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil?
Mark Murphy says he should know within a week whether #Packers are playing Eagles in Brazil during 2024 season. It’s between Packers and Browns as Eagles opponent.

From what Murphy brought up today, it sounds like it will be the Green Bay Packers or the Cleveland Browns playing the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. That game is scheduled for September 6. It would count as a home game for Eagles. Green Bay would not have to use a home game from their schedule.
It is not surprising that the Green Bay Packers could be the team facing the Eagles. The Packers are a popular team around the world and are one of the most iconic franchises in all of sports.
Potential Advantages
This would not only be the first game in Brazil, but the Packers and Eagles are two of the best teams in the NFC. There could be chance they see each other after this game potentially in the playoffs.
Jordan Love is coming off a fantastic year as his first year as a starter. There is no doubt he is one of the better and most popular players in the NFL. It could mean more sales and fans traveling to Lambeau Field.
I would not be surprised if the NFL picked the Green Bay Packers. I would think they would want one of their most iconic teams, who happens to be one the better teams in the league, representing them in a game this big for the first time in Brazil.
Murphy mentioned they might find out in the next week or so if they are chose or if it will be Cleveland.
