Class of 2025 running back Nolan James Jr. was originally committed to the Boston College Eagles. He committed to them in December of 2023. James Jr. is currently a senior at DePaul Catholic High School. He is 5’11” and also weighs 205 lbs and is from Wayne, New Jersey.

Another team that showed interest in him was the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Notre Dame is having a much better season this year in college football than Boston College is.
Nolan James Jr. Flips Commitment From the Boston Colege Eagles To the Notre Dame Fighting Irish

On Monday, Nolan James Jr. told Hayes Fawcett of on3.com that he has flipped from Boston College to Notre Dame. He posted on his social media post:

The Syracuse Orange, the UCONN Huskies, and the UMASS Minutemen were also interested in Nolan James Jr. This was a very smart decision by the young man to switch from Boston College to Notre Dame.

It will be interesting to see how well Nolan James will play at the next level. Notre Dame is always a very good college football program. They have a chance to make the college football playoffs this season. The Fighting Irish land a very good recruit and this is a huge loss for the Boston College Eagles.
