The Army Black Knights take on the Air Force Falcons tomorrow in a game where the Black Knights will feature new helmets.
The Black Knights announced on social media that the team will be wearing all black uniforms and special edition helmets tomorrow. The special edition helmets have a gray outline of a skull and crossbones across the side of the helmet. The helmet also features a black facemask and a black chinstrap on the bottom of the helmet.
College football fans quickly got their hands on the image and have since pledged allegiance towards the Black Knights this weekend. Responses ranged from “Army will win this game” to “Top three helmets in college football this season” under the image.

The Army Black Knights are currently 7-0 and ranked 21st in the country as the team is in the midst of an exceptional season. Quarterback Bryson Daily has been dubbed “Captain America” and has largely been the driving force for the success the Black Knights have had on offense.
Currently, the Black Knights are massive 24-point favorites over the visiting Air Force Falcons this Saturday.
Army Black Knights Could Shock College Football World This Season Against Notre Dame
With the incredible season the Army Black Knights have had, a potential upset over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish might not be out of the question.
Army are set to face off against the Fighting Irish on November 23rd in arguably the biggest game for the Black Knights outside of the Navy game. History could repeat itself, as Notre Dame crushed opposing the service academy Navy earlier this season. However, the Army Black Knights could make things interesting with the defense that they have.
While Army has not played against any offense quite as good as the Notre Dame offense, the defense has allowed just 12.43-points per game this season. Army has allowed just 4.8-yards per play and 281.9-yards per game this season on defense.
Before Army can focus on Notre Dame, however, the Black Knights will have to beat Air Force and North Texas.
The Black Knights have historically struggled against Air Force, with a record of 19-38 all-time against the Falcons. Army defeated the Falcons last season, 23-3, in just the fourth ever win away from home against Air Force. The Black Knights have a home record of 12-14 and will host the Falcons this time around in a game where Army is favored by 24-points.
North Texas, however, has been a different story as the Black Knights hold a career 5-2 record after a long hiatus. Army has not played North Texas since the 2017 season, and lost 52-49 in the last encounter with the team.
