The Georgia Bulldogs got a very important commit late last night in 4- star wide receiver Ny Carr. It was a much needed momentum builder after a rollercoaster start to July. The first of July Georgia got a big commit only to lose our on two decommits the next couple days. Now with Carr’s commit momentum is back for July recruiting.

Carr ranks as the nation’s No. 10 WR and the No. 66 overall prospect for the 2024 classon the https://247sports.com/Season/2024-Football/RecruitRankings/ Composite ratings. He ranked even higher by the on3 consensus where he is #5 at his position and #19 overall in the 2024 class.
This commit is much needed by the Bulldogs because as great as their team has been, they haven’t had that clear number one big star receiver. Also it brings momentum back to UGA to get some more big name commits. One of them they are hoping for is Carr’s teammate at Colquitt county, tight end Landen Thomas who is ranked #1 tight end in the nation for the 2024 class.
Some say it come as no surprise that Carr picked the Bulldogs because he has been a fan living in south Georgia. He also put up a lot of posts about the school even calling it “home” in some posts.

This is a great addition to the program and we look forward to seeing him on the field at UGA. I believe if he keeps progressing then not only will he be great at Georgia, but we will definitely see him on Sunday one day.
