The top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs football team started the 2024 NCAA Football season with a bang, demolishing the 14th ranked Clemson Tigers 34-3 on Saturday. Georgia was dominant both offensively and defensively, especially in the second half.

After taking a 6-0 lead into halftime, the Bulldogs’ offense erupted for 28 points in the second half while holding the Tigers to just a field goal.
There were plenty of offensive stars for Georgia, including quarterback Carson Beck, who completed 23 of 33 passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns.
Beck, though, was just the seventh-highest graded Georgia player on offense, per PFF.
1. Georgia Bulldogs Wide Receiver London Humphreys
PFF Grade: 93.2
Georgia wide receiver London Humphreys only played seven offensive snaps, but he led the Bulldogs in receiving yards with 63. Of his two receptions, one of them was a gritty touchdown in which he burned by several Tigers defenders in order to reach the end zone.
Kirby Smart saw London Humphreys burn Georgia’s secondary for a long TD last season and probably said:

Humphreys is a transfer player in his sophomore season. He played for Vanderbilt last year, catching 22 passes for 439 yards and four touchdowns.
2. Georgia Bulldogs Left Tackle Monroe Freeling
PFF Grade: 76.7
Left tackle Monroe Freeling is a sophomore offensive lineman that is one of Georgia’s most exciting developmental players.
He only played 19 snaps as Earnest Greene III started and played the majority of the game.
Still, Freeling earned the second-highest PFF grade on offense.
A high school scouting report from 2022 on 24/7 by Brian Dohn said of Freeling, “Will flourish as one-sport athlete and with strength and nutrition program in college. Is usually patient in pass pro base but sometimes reaches and bends at waist. Being patient from snap to snap is important. Has to continue to add mass and strength, particularly in upper body. Needs to be more consistent in sinking his hips when engage while run blocking. All-conference potential at elite level college program. Early round NFL draft potential.”
While he may not be getting the majority of snaps now, it is clear that Freeling is going to play a big role in Georgia’s offense in the near future. He will be a name to watch when he declares for the NFL Draft in a few years.
3. Georgia Bulldogs Running Back Cash Jones
PFF Grade: 75.0
Running back Cash Jones is a redshirt junior who, like the other players who graded higher than him, did not play the majority of offensive snaps. He played a total of 13 snaps, and just one of those was a run play for him.
He made the most of that one rushing attempt, taking it 15 yards for a touchdown.
Jones has had exactly one touchdown run in each of his previous two seasons at Georgia, so his next rushing score, if it happens, will set a new career high.
4. Georgia Bulldogs Running Back Nate Frazier
PFF Grade: 74.4
Freshman running back Nate Frazier showed why he was a four-star recruit and one of the most-recruited running backs in the entire country.
He led Georgia with 11 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown, earning an elite rushing grade of 83.6. He still needs to work on pass protection though, earning a dismal 28.4 pass blocking grade (to be far, he only played two pass blocking snaps).
5. Georgia Bulldogs Right Guard Tate Ratledge
PFF Grade: 71.4
Right guard Tate Ratledge started the season on both watch lists for the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award.
Against Clemson, he played 55 offensive snaps, earning an elite pass blocking grade of 85.8. His run blocking wasn’t too bad either, as he earned a 68.9 grade.
A senior this year, Ratledge may be one of the first interior offensive linemen taken in the 2025 NFL Draft if he continues this level of play.
