George Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, got a reaction from Kristin Juszczyk on account of Kittle’s historic contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers. On Tuesday, George Kittle signed a four-year contract extension with the 49ers for an amount of $76.4 million. The deal makes Kittle the highest-paid tight end in the history of the NFL.
George Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, shared her delight for her husband’s new milestone through an Instagram post. Kristin Juszczyk, whose husband Kyle Juszczyk also plays for the 49ers as a fullback, reacted to the post, sharing her happiness for her friends.
“The band is back together!!!!!” Kristin Juszczyk commented on Claire Kittle’s Instagram post about her husband signing a monumental deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
George Kittle has been with the San Francisco 49ers since 2017 after being selected as the 146th pick in the fifth round of the NFL draft. The tight end has appeared in six Pro Bowls and made it to the First-team All-Pro twice. In the 2024 NFL season, Kittle managed a total of 78 receptions for 1,106 yards, scoring eight touchdowns for the team.
With a lot of money being pumped into his bank account by the 49ers, George Kittle will be expected to do plenty in the 2025 NFL season for the team. In the previous season, the San Francisco 49ers finished at the bottom of the NFC West after winning only six games and losing 11. The team played their very last game of the season against the Arizona Cardinals, losing with an abysmal 47-24 score.

George Kittle’s Teammate, Brock Purdy, Not As Fortunate As Him
Meanwhile, George Kittle’s teammate, Brock Purdy, has still not heard anything positive from the team about his own contract extension. Purdy joined the team back in 2022 on a two-year contract, and it looks like he’s asking a lot from the team.

Reports are that the team might close the deal at a little more than $50M, something that might be closer to what Purdy wants. Still, nothing official has come from the team. Purdy was selected by the San Francisco 49ers as the 262nd pick in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft.

Once considered Mr. Irrelevant, Purdy quickly proved his critics wrong and went on to punch impressive numbers on the board. In the 2024 NFL season, the quarterback threw for a total of 3,864 yards, scoring 20 touchdowns for the team.
