George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers tight end, has been having a hell of a time at Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas. Kittle showed up to the historic event with his wife, Claire Kittle. Claire Kittle also posted a picture of the gala time that she and her husband had at Allegiant Stadium.
George and Claire Kittle met each other at the University of Iowa, where George played football and Claire played basketball. The two dated for a few years before getting married in 2019. While George Kittle has made it as an NFL player, Claire Kittle has ventured into fitness and wellness.
“I love it here” Claire Kitle captioned her Instagram post, adding a laughing with tears emoji at the end.
Meanwhile, George Kittle is still expected to be one of the most outstanding aspects of the San Francisco 49ers in the upcoming season. In the 2024 NFL season, the 49ers finished at the bottom of the NFC West winning six games and losing 11. San Francisco played their last game of the season against the Arizona Cardinals, losing 47-24. In that season, Kittle managed 78 receptions in total for the 49ers for 1,106 yards, scoring eight touchdowns for the team.
George Kittle has been playing for the Arizona Cardinals since 2017 after the team selected him as the 146th pick of the fifth round of the NFL draft. Before the NFL, Kittle played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2012 to 2016.
George Kittle Might Not Show Up For Voluntary Offseason Workout
While it is common knowledge that George Kittle is a great pillar for the San Francisco 49ers, the team and him are struggling to meet half-way in terms of his contract. According to Mike Silver from The Athletic, the team and Kittle are ‘far apart’ in terms of the contract negotiation.
As a result, it is still not confirmed as to if George Kittle will actually show up to the voluntary offseason workouts, which begin on Tuesday. The 49ers have not shown themselves as expert contract negotiators, as they are yet to come up with a final say on Brock Purdy’s contract extension as well.
Purdy is asking for a hefty amount, which the 49ers are hesitant to pay up, mainly because they need to make numerous sacrifices for the same. Several NFL analysts have pointed out that if the San Francisco 49ers do not get quicker in sealing deals with their players, they might end up in choppy waters soon.
