The North Carolina Tar Heels will be entering an interesting time for their football program. With Mack Brown leaving the football program, Bill Belichick will be the head coach for the 2025 season and potentially beyond.

Things are going to look different for the Tar Heels this season. With the ACC Conference not being strong, there could be a chance where North Carolina turns things around this season and potentially be in contention for a playoff spot. It will be interesting to see how the North Carolina Tar Heels will perform.
North Carolina Tar Heels Football Program Will Be Featured On Hard Knocks “Offseason Addition”

Last season, the New York Giants did the “offseason” edition of Hard Knocks and everyone remembers how bad general manager Joe Schoen was. He mishandled the Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones situation. Everyone got to see on TV how horrible of a general manager he is.
According to Front Office Sports,
“Bill Belichick and North Carolina will be featured on Hard Knocks after NFL films could not find an NFL team for the show.”
This is very interesting that not a single NFL team wanted to go onto the offseason edition of Hard Knocks in the NFL. Seeing a college football program like the North Carolina Tar Heels stepping up to the plate in this situation will be very interesting to see.

Sad that there won’t be an NFL team on NFL films Hard Knocks but I am excited to see Bill Navigate the college landscape. @FOS @On3sports @mlombardiuncgm

This is gonna be wild! A college team on Hard Knocks? Can’t wait to see Belichick’s approach off the NFL grid.

How much will Belichick’s NFL experience help build UNC’s football program? What aspects of his coaching will have the biggest impact?

This is awesome, great idea.

LETS GOOOOOOO
Would be even better if they permanently switched to a college team.
Also would make sense as I’d think a college team if they could get paid for it would love to do it (put it into NIL).

It would be intriguing to see if the North Carolina Tar Heels will start a trend in college football with the Hard Knocks show, because it has been with NFL teams forever. There is no question that there would be some interesting college football teams to choose from. A few teams that would draw would be the Texas Longhorns, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish also.
