The Philadelphia Eagles are going into the 2024-25 playoffs with Championship aspirations.  Going into week 16, Philadelphia is 12-3 and will certainly be looking to get back to the Super Bowl.

As it turns out, one of their former players (and legend) landed a head coaching gig just before the NFL playoffs start.

Adding to the list of former stars trying their hand at coaching is DeSean Jackson:

According to reporter Jeff Lightsy Jr., DeSean Jackson is set to become the new head coach of the Delaware State Hornets’ college football team. The team finished a disappointing 1-11 this season, with their only victory coming against Sacred Heart.

Jackson replaces Lee Hull, who was relieved of his duties earlier this month. Hull, who coached Morgan State from 2014 to 2015, went 2-21 over his two seasons in charge of the Hornets.

DeSean Jackson was one of the NFL’s most explosive playmakers during his prime. He played in the NFL from 2008 to 2022, earning three Pro Bowl nods and Second-team All-Pro honors in 2009.
