The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a massive win over the Los Angeles Rams. A 37-20 rout move Philadelphia to 9-2 on the year and still right on the heels of the 10-1 Detroit Lions in the NFC. Currently, Philadelphia has a solid lock on the number two seed in the NFC.
That being said, Philadelphia decided to bring in some reinforcements for the latter half of the season.
Eagles Sign Former Cowboys 6’4″ Monster For Playoff Push (Report)
In just 24 hours, Philadelphia seemed to have the start of an answer as to how they’ll replace Brandon Graham’s along the defensive line:
Philadelphia signed defensive end K.J. Henry to their practice squad as a way to bolster the team’s defensive line. Mike Garafolo of NFL Network was the first to report on the signing.
Henry, a 2023 fifth-round pick of the Washington Commanders last season, was on the Dallas Cowboys this season and was waived last week. He has recorded 2.5 sacks in 14 games played in his NFL career.
The Clemson product joins a practice squad that is already at the maximum amount of players providing a tease that the Eagles could call up former sixth-round pick Tarron Jackson. The Coastal Carolina prospect has recorded a single sack in three seasons of NFL play.
Henry’s signing is simply providing more options for the Eagles after Graham’s injury in Week 12.

With the injury now in the rearview mirror, the Eagles will need to figure out a way to suddenly manage a rash of injuries that has plagued the edge rusher position.
Here is a look at Henry’s career stats:
