“Never seen a Browns player go from loved to hated so quickly as Myles has.” Cleveland Browns fans react to the new Myles Garrett story

The Cleveland Browns are at a crossroads regarding what to do with their All-Pro defensive end, Myles Garrett. Garrett requested to be traded a month ago, and the Browns have repeatedly stated that it won’t happen.

Since Garrett entered the NFL in 2017, he’s been the best defensive player in the league. He just finished his seventh season in a row with double-digit sacks.

For a franchise that has been so bad in the last 20-plus years, Browns fans have had a few great players to cheer for, and Garrett might be the best player Cleveland has had since they returned in 1999.

Now that the 29-year-old defensive end wants out of town, fans have turned quickly on him. Some fans aren’t happy that Garrett is dragging the Browns through the mud after everything the franchise did for him over the years.

Some fans took to social media to show their frustrations with the superstar player.

I think Myles Garrett has used up and spent the goodwill he had from the fans at the start of this trade request. Way to ruin your legacy in a city that loved you. Lebron effect.

Another reminder: #Browns Myles Garrett has a huge hand in the team’s current QB mess too. It’s not just the FO/Andrew Berry. But let’s ignore that part, right? pic.twitter.com/Lx7TNeKp4s
