In 2021 Miami had on of the worst offensive lines in the league. Thankfully the team addressed the problem in a big way by bringing in All Pro Offensive Tackle Terron Armstead. Armstead and the Dolphins agreed to a 5 year contract that can be potentially be worth up to $87.5 million after incentives.
Armstead was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round of the 2013 draft. The three time Pro Bowler played eight seasons with future Hall of famer Drew Brees. While on the GOJO podcast Armstead explained why he feels Tua could benefit from a relationship with Brees.
“Spending so long with Drew and being such a fan of what he does, Drew is as accurate as they come” Armstead said. ” I don’t know if he has much experience or connection with Drew. That definitely would be something I’d like to bridge just because he was such a cerebral mind……He saw it differently than most.” He added ” Drew would be an asset to anybody.”
A meeting with Drew Brees could help propel Tua into becoming the star the franchise and fans have been hoping to see.
