US President Donald Trump recently dropped a bomb that he tried to convince the New York Giants not to let Saquon Barkley go from the team. With team representatives countering the sitting POTUS’ remarks that the conversation between him and the Giants never actually happened, there has been plenty of drama brewing in the last couple of days to which Ryan Clark, former New York Giants safety, responded sarcastically.
Barkley was selected by the New York Giants as the second pick in the very first round of the 2018 NFL draft and played for the team until 2023. Barkley left as a free agent and the Eagles showed interest in him. Apparently, Barkley was hoping to get into the Giants team again, but the team was not ready to match Philadelphia’s offer.
“I was with the Giants’ head coach and some people, and I said, ‘Do anything you have to, but don’t lose Saquon. They lost Saquon, that was not good. I called that one. That was an easy one to call because he played damn well for the Giants, I’ll tell you that.” US President Donald Trump said during the White House Super Bowl celebration on Monday.
“There were no conversations,” a New York Giants front office member said to Front Office Sports.
“Well duh!!’ Ryan Clark responded from his X account.

President Donald Trump seems to have taken a strong liking to Saquon Barkley. Before Barkley and his team could visit the White House for the Super Bowl celebrations on Monday, the POTUS managed to make time for a game of golf with the running back at his golf club in New Jersey.

US President Donald Trump’s Remarks On Taylor Swift May Have Angered Chiefs
Not only the Philadelphia Eagles, but the Kansas City Chiefs, too, will soon be meeting the president of the United States at the White House. The Chiefs will be making up for their cancelled celebration in 2020 as a result of the pandemic.

However, just as some of the Eagles team members chose to skip the celebration, including quarterback Jalen Hurts, it does not look like all the Chiefs players will be meeting the POTUS any time soon.

This is being speculated as a result of President Trump’s taunts on pop-singer Taylor Swift who is currently dating the team tight-end Travis Kelce. While Kelce seems pretty supportive of the POTUS, his girlfriend and the sitting president are on two ends of the spectrum when it comes to their political ideologies.
