US President Donald Trump could not help but take a dig at pop singer Taylor Swift in the recently held Eagles Super Bowl Celebration. It is common knowledge that the current POTUS and Swift do not see eye-to-eye in politics with both of them supporting opposing parties and ideologies. In fact, during the previous election, Swift publicly endorsed Trump’s rival, Kamala Harris for president of the United States.
At Super Bowl LIX, President Donald Trump was perhaps the most esteemed guest and created history as the first sitting president to attend the esteemed game. Trump cheered the Philadelphia Eagles to win against the Kansas City Chiefs. Perhaps his support provided the Eagles with ample luck since they stormed past the Chiefs on their way to lift the trophy.
“I watched in person, I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out?!” US President Donald Trump said about singer/songwriter Taylor Swift at the Eagles Super Bowl Celebration.

While the Kansas City Chiefs had a pretty smooth season last year, they soon ran into trouble in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles, supported by US President Donald Trump, were simply too good and ended up winning with an impressive 40-22, leaving Chiefs and Swift herself heartbroken. Philadelphia’s quarterback, Jalen Hurts, managed to complete 17 passes out of 22 attempts, scoring three touchdowns in total for the team.

Jalen Hurts Will Not Be Meeting President Donald Trump
Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts and a few other players from the Philadelphia Eagles team have chosen to skip out on their invitation to the White House to meet President Donald Trump. Last week, Hurts was asked on the red carpet at a TIME magazine event if he will be going to the White House and the Eagles quarterback replied with a puzzling “ummmmm”.

Recently, an official statement from the White House was announced by NBC News correspondent, Yamiche Alcindor, stating that Jalen Hurts and several other team members will not be attending the Super Bowl celebration as a result of ‘scheduling conflicts’.Hurts’ excuse quickly became meme material, with many social media users going to use this template for numerous scenarios.
“If I send you this, I’m telling you I have a ‘scheduling conflict’ but really I just don’t like you” X user @kelsientaggart tweeted.

Along with Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jalen Carter, Brandon Graham, Nolan Smith, Jordan Davis, Zack Baun, Quinyon Mitchell, Darius Slay, Nakobe Dean and CJ Gardner Johnson chose to skip the ceremony.
