Derrick Henry played for the Baltimore Ravens in the 2024 NFL season, and his move to the team came as a surprise since the running back was initially supposed to play for the Dallas Cowboys this season. Micah Parsons, linebacker for the Cowboys, was asked if Henry would have helped the team win if he indeed joined Dallas instead of Baltimore.
The Baltimore Ravens finished the 2024 NFL season at the top of the AFC North table with 12 wins and five defeats. The Ravens played against the Buffalo Bills in the NFL Divisional Round and lost the game with a final score of 27-25. In that game, Derrick Henry contributed 16 carries for 84 yards, with a solo touchdown. In the 2024 season, Henry managed 325 yards for 1,921 yards scoring 16 touchdowns.

Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, finished third in the NFC East with seven wins and ten defeats in the season. The Cowboys were eventually kicked out of the race after being defeated by the Washington Commanders in early January with a final score of 23-19. Linebacker Parsons himself managed 30 solo tackles for the team with 12 sacks in the season.
Derrick Henry Back In Gym Despite Not Making It To Super Bowl
Meanwhile, Derrick Henry seems to have let go of the past and has already set his eyes on the future. Henry was seen working out in the gym heavily with personal trainer, Melwin Sanders in a recent Instagram post. The running back is already a veteran in the sport and has completed about nine years in the NFL.
Despite being one of the senior players in the league at 31 years of age, Henry is not taking much rest during the offseason and instead setting his sights on improving himself and his performance. Derrick Henry is already known to be one of the larger running backs in the league and has a 4.54 seconds 40-yard dash time.
Henry was the 45th pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft and joined the Tennessee Titans where he played from 2016 to 2023. In 2024, Henry moved to the Baltimore Ravens and already made a permanent impression on the team.
