The Denver Broncos made headlines for all the wrong reasons on Sunday. This was after they suffered a devastating 50-point loss to the red-hot Miami Dolphins. Needless to say, the Broncos were utterly embarrassed in this one, resulting in their third defeat in three games to start the new season.

NFL Twitter Goes Hard on Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

This is the most lopsided scorline we’ve seen in quite a while, and you just know that NFL Twitter was going to go all-in on Denver after this defeat. Likewise, Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was also clowned hard for his role in the loss.

Below are the funniest tweet reactions from Sunday’s shellacking:

There were a lot of shots fired toward head coach Sean Payton as well, who hasn’t exactly had a great start to his tenure as the Denver shot-caller. After a seaon-long hiatus following his 15-year reign with the New Orleans Saints, Payton took the job as Denver’s head coach this summer. It goes without saying that he has had a disastrous start in his first three games on the job.

There were more tweets out there that will make Broncos fans want to look away in shame:

Fans NOT Excited About Denver Broncos Vs. Chicago Bears Matchup

For what it’s worth, Denver will have a chance to erase this embarrassment when they return to action on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. For their part, the Bears have also had a horrific start to the season and are 0-3.

One of these two teams will get their first win of the campaign in Week 4, while the other will be in an even deeper 0-4 hole. Whatever the case might be, NFL fans are NOT excited about this upcoming matchup:

It’s not a good day to be a Denver fan right now. Apparently, the same is the case for Chicago supporters everywhere.
