Deion Sanders is hemorrhaging future talent in a way that matches the Colorado Buffaloes’ epic disaster to finish their regular season. The Buffaloes lost eight of their final nine games to finish with a 4-8 record in Sanders’ first season in Boulder.
Losses off the field have followed.

The transfer portal could make or break the 2024 season for Colorado. Sanders said earlier this fall he wanted to replace his offensive line. He doesn’t have much help in that department with his 2024 commit list, so Sanders will need to pursue offensive linemen aggressively in the portal.
With the regular season over, players are announcing their intent to hit the portal. According to Fawcett, tight end Caleb Fauria entered the portal Monday.

More players seem to be exiting the program than entering following the disastrous season for the self-proclaimed “best” college football coach. Sanders will need to use the next couple of months to add premium talent to improve the 2024 team.
With no bowl game for Colorado, Sanders will have plenty of time this winter to take his Louis Vuitton on the recruiting trail.
