Former Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Darious Williams is drawing interest from several teams across the league, according to multiple league sources.
Williams, 30, continues to play at a high level after holding opposing quarterbacks to a paltry 69.6 quarterback rating when targeting him during the 2023 regular season. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the New York Giants will host Williams on a visit Sunday.

In addition to the Giants, multiple teams are gauging Williams’ interest in a visit in the coming days.
The Jaguars released Williams, in a move to create spending flexibility under the salary cap prior to free agency getting underway and the new league year beginning on March 13.
Williams finished up the 2023 season with 53 total tackles and a career-high four interceptions, with one returned for a touchdown.
Since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent signing by the Baltimore Ravens in 2018, Williams has produced 236 total tackles with 10 interceptions, and one returned for a touchdown.
What is Darious Williams’ Market Value in Free Agency?
Given the robust interest in Williams, teams may need to pay a premium to add him into their secondary.
According to Spotrac, Williams could fetch a two-year deal, worth $25.6 million, averaging out to approximately $12.8 million, annually. That contract would make Williams the 14th-highest-paid cornerback in the NFL.
Williams emerges as a hot commodity, drawing widespread interest for his stellar performance and potential impact on any team’s secondary.
As the countdown to free agency continues, he’s eligible to sign with any team, because he was released by Jacksonville before the new league year beginning.
