Friday was not a slow news day in the NFL because the New York Giants finally said goodbye to their quarterback, Daniel Jones, after demoting him to fourth string this week.
It was time for the Giants and Jones to part ways, but many didn’t think it would happen this soon. New York couldn’t take it anymore.
Daniel Jones Was Better Than Josh Allen In One Area
The Giants will be in the quarterback market this offseason, but even though Jones is on his way out of town, a clip from earlier this year is going around the internet talking about how Jones is better than Josh Allen in one way.
Former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman stated that a former NFL player who played with Allen and Jones told him that the former New York quarterback is way more accurate than Allen.
There was a chance that Jones was a more accurate passer than Allen back in the day. Still, it sure didn’t make him a better one since the Buffalo Bills quarterback has taken over the league and is maybe the second-best quarterback, while Jones is now sitting at home waiting for someone to call him.
