The LSU Tigers have been in the news over the last couple of days because of the way things have gone with recruiting. Bryce Underwood, the top quarterback and top-ranked prospect in the class of 2025, he decided to flip his commitment to the Michigan Wolverines and stay home instead of going to the LSU Tigers.

This is a big loss for them. Wide receiver Derek Meadows could also be on the move after Underwood de-committed from the program. Some programs are interested in going after him after the latest Underwood domino to fall.

On3 Reports the Alabama Crimson Tide Could Land Wide Receiver Derek Meadows From the LSU Tigers

According to Steve Wiltfong of on3.com, the Alabama Crimson Tide has entered the race to potentially land wide receiver Derek Meadows. Meadows was one of the top recruits at the wide receiver position for the LSU Tigers, but he is likely going to be playing college football elsewhere next season.

There is a chance that he could join Bryce Underwood with the Michigan Wolverines, but the Alabama Crimson Tide could be a very interesting destination for Derek Meadows. Even if he doesn’t go to Alabama and winds up Michigan, the Wolverines will gain massive talents in their program and the LSU Tigers will have lost them.

Yeah let’s do everyone like they did Alabama when Nick Saban retired. 😆😆😆

There’s no point of even adding on “LSU commit” anymore everyone knows he’s not signing here and at this point he can go

Go with the tide young man

It will be interesting to see when Derek Meadows decides to choose a new destination for the next four years after high school. With the LSU Tigers set to lose another recruit, it is worth wondering if they will need to fire Brian Kelly as head coach after the season and find a new one. Bryce Underwood leaving LSU for the Michigan Wolverines felt like the final straw and Meadows is about to follow suit as well.
